Hello girls ‘n’ boys! I just tried something truly amazing – and I mean A-ma-Zing! And, of course, could not wait to share this news with all of you! Here we go: I am talking about the 7 lights powder illuminator brought to us by Shiseido.

It was first launched back in 1917 and to mark the 100 years since it’s creation Shiseido redesigned and relaunched it in February 2017. It is inspired by the original 7 Colours Powder and was developed into a modern product, tailored to match the complexion and lifestyles of contemporary women.

The new compact is a rectangular shaped powder boosting indeed 7 different colours, so in itself is already a colour-correcting powder. It was designed for all the colours to be used together because by using all of them combined, it will bring out your best skin colour possible with a very nice subtle glow. It brightens, corrects any dullness and you can also use the golden peachy tones as a slightly iridescent blush using the nice brush provided in the case. It is also a perfect setting powder and is unbelievably silky and is for all skin tones.

If you would like to know more about the history of this fabulous product, read an interview with Shiseido’s designer Yasuhiro Tsukamoto here.
